Leading aviation engineering and maintenance company, Commsoft, will be attending the world-famous International Paris Air Show, which takes place from 19th to 25th June in Le Bourget near Paris, France. Commsoft Managing Director Nick Godwin will also attend the prestigious Aerospace Media Dinner and Awards ceremony on 18th June, ahead of the show’s official opening the following day. As a member of the International Society of Transport Aircraft Trading (ISTAT) organisation, Mr Godwin will also be attending the annual ISTAT Reception. On the evening of Monday 19th June, it provides a unique event of networking with members and industry colleagues.
Nick Godwin says of the bi-annual air show: “Everyone who is anyone in our industry will be at the International Paris Air Show and we are greatly looking forward to meeting with experts, colleagues and innovators during our time there. As well as showcasing our own highly successful OASES engineering and maintenance product, we are eagerly anticipating learning about other technological innovations from across the aviation sector and discussing the future of our industry with major players from around the world.”
2017 sees the International Paris Air Show enter its 52nd year. Hugely popular with trade visitors and the general public alike, the biennial event is an unmissable event on the international aviation calendar. As well as exciting exhibitors and exhilarating aerial displays, it also brings together the global industry’s key players to discover and discuss the latest technological innovations. The show opens to trade visitors for the first four days, followed by three days for the general public. Around 2,500 exhibitors have booked to attend, while visitor numbers are expected to exceed 350,000 over the course of the show.
Commsoft’s ‘best of breed’ system, OASES, is currently serving more than 120 aviation customers worldwide, ranging from national carriers and large third-party maintenance providers to small independent operators. With headquarters in Essex, and regional offices across the UK and in Australia, it also has support partners in Romania, India and Singapore.
